Cognac VS - *** Three Stars
V.S (for Very Special) , also called *** (or Three Stars) is is a cognac which youngest eau-de-vie is at least two and a half years old. A Cognac may be sold only when its youngest eau-de-vie reaches a minimum of two and a half years old, as of the first day of October following the harvest of the grapes.
Only the years of storage in oak barrels count to determine its age. Once transferred into glass, the Cognac stops maturing . It stands still.
These young cognacs are ideal to be used for Long Drinks or to make Cocktails. The fruit creams and liqueurs are also essential to make nice cocktails.
Light and agreeably fresh blooming Grande Champagne Cognac, with flowery notes, vine flower, lime tree, followed with tones of fruits and citrus peel. It is a perfect Cognac as a base for cocktails. We enjoy cooking with touches of Cognac Coq by Jean Fillioux. “Highly Recommended” by Paul Pacult, the american Spirits expert – Spirit Journal Learn MoreExcl. Tax: €31.37 Incl. Tax: €37.65
