LA BELLA |
Color: Deep amber with green reflections, brillant and clear. Scent :: very agreeable and rich ; one might comment on the lingering
aroma of toasted cacao, vanilla, rancio and prunes.
Tasting:
the flavor is clear, with a certain fullness and balance, the
? ? (tanins) are very rich and carry suppleness. The presence of alcohol,
although rich, gives this " water of life " volume and avoids softness ;
the immedite aftertaste is of rancio then of cinnamon and liquorice ;
the taste persists in the mouth.
La Bella agrees well with a lemon pie and a cigar at the end of a meal. . |

L'OLYMPE 1967 Available in other Vintages upon request |
Color: : warm brown with tints of gold, and green reflections,
brillant and clear.
Scent :: simple, with hints of fern, after inhalation there is an intense
aroma of violet.
Tasting: Taste : The flavor is clear and balanced. The ? ? are already rich and of high quality ; the rather rich alcoholic sensation gives this " water of life " all its greatness in the aftertaste, rather typical of older wines involving the flavor of rancio |

LA CLASSIQUE |
color: dark maroon with green reflections Scent :: Right away the odor or ? ? (rancio) spice and of toasted coffee comes to mind, followed by dried flowers. Tasting: The flavor is clear and balanced ; the presense of alcohol is nicely blended as well as the wood tanins which leave a liquorice taste on the palate ; the aftertaste is soft and rich. This is a wine without harshness, without much alcohol, but with an aromatic, persistent richness. The Classic 1944 agrees well at the end of a meal with roquefort cheese and fresh fruit. |
