Gautier’s Pinar Del Rio cigar blend Cognac XO is named after the best region in Cuba for growing the finest tobacco leaves. Pinar Del Rio, is an exceptional Cognac, blended with Cognac among which ones are aged up to 25 years. This unique blend is slow aged in dense Limousin oak barrels in the cellars of Cognac Gautier. Blends from various regions give Pinar Del Rio its true character : regions like Fins Bois for its body, Borderies for its mellowness, Petite and Grande Champagne for its finesse and finish. Extensive research was conducted to develop this rare and limited blend. Pinar Del Rio is specially reserved for the discriminating connoisseur whose sensitive palate will appreciate the marriage of aged Cognacs with quality cigars.
Tasting notes : Rich amber color with mahogany and rosewood hints. Very rich aromas, complex, very supple with notes of vanilla, dried fruit and oak. Round and long taste with plenty of finesse. Well balanced, increasing intensity without the bite.
