Blend

Cognac is rarely born of a single eau-de-vie or a single growing area, but generally from a blend of different ages and crus, sometimes up to a hundred of them.

It can be made also exclusively from certain “cru”, for example exclusively from “Grande Champagne”, but of different ages.

  • Rémy Martin - Louis XIII

The creation of the Louis XIII cognac in 1874 is in no way a coincidence. It represents the absolute mastery of time, a succession of daring initiatives and an unceasing quest for quality within the House of Rémy Martin. Louis XIII, the prestigious bond between the past and the future, opens – with the passion of three generations of cellar masters – the doors to the great saga of luxury spirits. It illustrates the collective work of men with strong ties to their land and the guardians of secular secrets.Their art will cross the 20th century. It will embrace the future with a steadfast faith and an extraordinary boldness. This art is similar to that of cathedral builders who never saw the completion of their work and used only the best materials for their building.

The publication praised its "Deeply nutty aromas. Midpalate highlights aspects of honey, cocoa and chocolate orange. Aftertaste is luscious, honeyed and profoundly deep."

XO Extra 1755, the finest cognac from Gautier
A blend of very old “eaux de vie”, some that have been aged in the “Paradis” wine cellars, this XO Cognac Extra has exceptional complexity and aromatic richness. Its splendid gold marked decanter sublimates the “1755” warm amber and intense colour. A prestigious gift for the true Cognac connoisseurs.
