Cognac is rarely born of a single eau-de-vie or a single growing area, but generally from a blend of different ages and crus, sometimes up to a hundred of them.
It can be made also exclusively from certain “cru”, for example exclusively from “Grande Champagne”, but of different ages.
Bons Bois : less chalky but more earthy soil of 16,000 hectares that is well reflected in the eau de vie.
André Petit - Extra XO - Bons Bois
A Cognac for great moments and for great opportunities.
A bouquet with much delicacy and with an exceptional complexity, where the 'rancio' mingles with the perfumes of undergrowth, vanilla and old prunes.
André Petit - Hors d'Age - Bons Bois -
Cognac Extra "Family Reserve"
Limited quantity.
A blend of Cognac from the end of last century.
André Petit - Napoléon
Vieille Réserve Napoléon
It is a very elaborate Cognac.
A bouquet with considerable fineness and harmonious blending of flavours.
Jean Grosperrin -1944- Bons Bois
Collection Cognac – Artisan Vintage
Awarded 94/100 by Livets Goda (Sweden, 2008).
Unusual in this “cru” because of its lightness and its density. An astonishing vitality, smooth and round with a prune mouthfeel that will stay in your memory for a long time. The "petits crus" have also their wonders!
Rough from cask.
