Cognac Jean Fillioux - Domaine de la Pouyade

Traditions, since 1880....

The vineyards lie in the heart of the Grande Champagne in the "golden triangle": Verrières, Angeac-Champagne and Juillac-le-Coq.
It is well known, this area yields the most delicate and finest Cognacs, and requires long oak barrel ageing to achieve maturity: the ageing is the key.
Nothing will be done without Pascal's full control, from wines to labels and from soil to bottle. It's a one-man-show.
For your pleasure, Pascal J. Fillioux presents some of his best Cognacs and help you to choose.

Please follow him … and taste.

The men in the Fillioux dynasty have each borne a great love to their region and their soil. They have, from generation to generation, been blessed with an exceptional "nose":

that one, unique, talent that sets apart those who love greatness and those who are actually able to create it.

The family is fortunate to own the small estate of La Pouyade, 50 acres located in the heart of the "Golden Triangle" marking the best of the Grande Champagne:

an area bounded by Segonzac, Angeac-Champagne, and Juillac-le-Coq, the closest village.

The family tradition is dedicated to the quality of their old Cognacs, to which they have always paid special attention, maturing them with love and patience in their cellars. In order to provide the finest ancients Cognacs, it takes the ability to raise young ones and mature them in the finest conditions, and the skill to blend the finest selected old brandies.

Pascal Fillioux returned to the roots of the company, and produces Cognac the same way his great-grandfather did: This is his taste and pleasure, as well as his mission.
