With its peerless vineyards lying on exceptional land, the FRAPIN Family Domain today extends over 300 hectares located exclusively in Grande Champagne, officially ranked Premier Cru du Cognac in 1904. Of the total, 200 hectares are planted in the distinctive « Ugni Blanc » stock. The FRAPIN vineyards are unique in term both of size and location. Cognacs from Grande Champagne are the finest, the most intense, and the one that age the best.

Respect for the sacrosanct traditions of the FRAPIN Family is combined today with modern wine-making methods for improve quality. The bouquet is concentrated following a double lees--distillation process providing the young cognac with complex aromas and exceptional long lasting taste. The resulting distillate is an ardent wine that is then aged in genuine Limousin oak casks whose wood vanilla notes and golden color to the Grande Champagne.
Grapes harvested exclusively from the FRAPIN Family Domain are distilled and ages in oak casks stored in the property’s traditional cellars. The Cellar Master carefully monitors the quality of each casks, the humidity of the cellar in which it is stored, and the time needed to reach perfection. He then combines different years of Grande Champagne Premier Cru in order to obtain the complex bouquet, incomparable long lasting taste, and perfect balance of FRAPIN Cognac.
