A SCRUPULOUS PRODUCTION PROCESS


In order to obtain these unique cognac lots, we developed a very strict method, which does not accept any compromise at any step.
  • G&A cognacs are distilled from low-proof wines (8,5%) made from low-yielding old vines.
  • Distillation is done very slowly in small pot stills in order to obtain highly aromatic and neat (clean) cognacs.
  • These young eaux-de-vie are aged in old casks (fûts roux) so the cognac develops complex aromas and flavors without getting any bitter tannins.
  • Their reduction is very gradual, which allows the cognac to reach its ideal proof while retaining its smoothness and depth of bouquet.
