Grande ChampagneGrande Champagne, fine and light, is the most refined growth, producing an eau-de-vie with a predominantly and incredibly long-tasting floral bouquet. It is remarkably well-suited to aging. |
Petite Champagne![]() Petite Champagne, with its mellow quality, comes a very close second to Grande Champagne. This growth is distinguished by a more powerful body. Occasionally lighter than Grande Champagne, it has a slightly fruity aroma which blends nicely with a predominantly floral nose. |
Borderies ![]() The Borderies are fine, soft eaux-de-vie, characterized by their roundness and rich violet bouquet. They are reputed to reach their optimal final quality in lesser years than the others. |
Fins BoisThe Fins Bois are light and firmly structured. They nonetheless have roundness, mellowness and charm which make them ideal for an introduction to Cognac. Their faster aging gives them a more vigorous taste than the mellow finesse of Champagnes. |
Bons bois![]() The vigorous Bons Bois have a distinctive taste, not so much of the wood but more reminiscent of moorlands by the sea, of shrubs and wild fruits. This is a somewhat craggy Cognac. |
