Un voyage de rève
In the middle of the 18th century, James Delamain, a young man from Ireland, undertook a journey to France tracing the steps of his ancestors a century earlier. He discovered the rolling countryside of the Charente, where he promptly settled to start a family and establish his company.

Created in 1991 by Bernard & Jacques HINE, the great great great great grandsons of Thomas HINE to celebrate to bicentenary of their ancestor's arrival in France. They selected their most prestigious cognac, TRIOMPHE, for this occasion.

Arcana
A single, unblended batch of extremely old Grande Champagne Cognac, Arcana is what is left after hosts of angels have taken their share.
It is bottled on demand from demijohns into hand blown crystal carafes.
 

In 1791 young Thomas HINE left the family home in Dorset, England for Jarnac in France to learn the language. He probably would have eventually returned home. Fate, however, intervened when he fell in love with Françoise Elisabeth, daughter of a great cognac family. He married her in 1797 and patiently learnt the art of cognac making, which he was to elevate to its highest form of expression.

The creation of the Louis XIII cognac in 1874 is in no way a coincidence. It represents the absolute mastery of time, a succession of daring initiatives and an unceasing quest for quality within the House of Rémy Martin. Louis XIII, the prestigious bond between the past and the future, opens – with the passion of three generations of cellar masters – the doors to the great saga of luxury spirits. It illustrates the collective work of men with strong ties to their land and the guardians of secular secrets.Their art will cross the 20th century. It will embrace the future with a steadfast faith and an extraordinary boldness.This art is similar to that of cathedral builders who never saw the completion of their work and used only the best materials for their building.

Collection Cognac – Artisan Vintage

Same origin and history as the 1944 FINS BOIS. The feminine softness of the Grande Champagne area is confirmed here. Give it time to reveal itself; you will discover a delicate union between the stripped tannins of its roughness and the refinement of the flavours of the cognac.
