Strong, top quality and fruity, this young cognac is aged in old oak barrels, with only a small amount of tannin equally good drunk as a digestive or as an aperitif in a cocktail or as a long drink.

Touches of flowers on the vine, but equally of linden flowers more present than in the VS.

The hints of linden flowers remain very present whereas the flowers on the vine have almost disappeared. There are dreied flowers and vanilla.

In the mouth : apricot and plum. Not aggressive to the palate but the wood is more perceptible than in the VSOP.
 

Subtle notes of flowers and crushed fruit mixed with violets.

This is a 10 years old cognac with an amazing bouquet, making it one of the best in its class.

The first nose is characterised by spice and toasted notes. They intensify and are complemented by hints of pastry and confectionary.
A very clean elegant palate displays excellent balance and a touch of oak at the finish.

The initial nose has soft oak and vanilla. The nose develops to a very elegant ‘rancio’ with delicious dried fruit and nut aromas.
The palate is soft and lingering with liquorice and ‘rancio’ flavours.

Remarkable aromas of dried fruits and, in particular, grilled almonds. Great freshness and not too tannic.
