Located immediately south east of Cognac, the Grande Champagne or king Growth (the premier Cru) covers 25 parishes representing note quite one thirtieth of the region.
Cognacs of the Maison Guerbé come from here. Only those Eaux de vie deriving from wines of grapes harvested in these parishes have the right to the Appellation of Grande Champagne.
