Our Vineyard:

Our vineyard is located exclusively in Grande Champagne's prime Cru.
Back in 1909, the Cognac region was organised in 6 Crus, or viticultural areas, according to the quality of the soil and of the Cognac they produced.

First comes the "Grande Champagne" area; it lies at the heart of the Cognac country. It is regarded as providing the finest grapes thanks to the essential ingredients of its chalky soil combined with an exceptional climate. All our Cognacs are produced with grapes from this special region.

The mystery of "time" 's work:

You may understand now that, for the Menuet's, the philosophy of producing Cognac has been the same since 1850: to produce the best quality of Grande Champagne Cognac in a limited quantity.

Ageing our Cognac in oak barrels for as long as possible is the only way to allow you to discover the mystery of "time" 's work on Grande Champagne Cognac. In contact with the wood tannins, the Cognac loses its hardness and alcohol degrees (1/2% of alcohol per year).
Our philosophy is to offer you a range of Cognac according to your request but first of all to give you the opportunity of tasting and buying old Cognac which spent many years in oak casks.
