Cognac Menuet has been a family concern for over three centuries now...Way back in 1680, we find the first vineyard of the Menuet family in the Cognac area.
It is not before 1850, nearly 150 years ago, that Louis Menuet began to enlarge his vineyard in the "Grande Champagne" region, the prime Cru of the Cognac area. From that very date, the goal of Menuet's has always been to enlarge the vineyard only on the Grande Champagne soil and to produce the more famous and delicate Cognac quality : Grande Champagne. |  | In 1900, the excellence of our Cognac was already recognised: Ernest Menuet (Louis's grand child), obtained a gold medal at the universal exhibition in Paris.
