Visit of Armenian Prime Minister

Following the invitation of group Pernod Ricard, Armenian Prime Minister, Mister Robert Kotcharian has come to Cognac to admire the expertise of Charente. During the visit of Renault and Bisquit's storehouses, he reminded the audience that his country is the largest brandy supplier for Eastern countries. We are aware of the fact that a privatization is in the offing and that large international companies already have their eye on it.

Home distillers open their doors

The Borderies and Fins Bois of the Hiersac canton are opening the doors of distilleries. This operation, the first after centuries of jealously kept secrets, has been very successful and will be renewed next year. Many operations to attract winter tourism are scheduled around these events.

Arriba America

Following the invitation of cognac parliamentary representatives, ambassadors from Columbia, Honduras, Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador have come to Cognac to test the quality of the products that their respective populations are rediscovering with joy. Let's hope this friendly visit will allow Parisian chanceries to follow their example. Nos vemos!

Cognac and techno music: groovy!

In principle, cognac and party animals weren't meant to meet in the same place, and yet, the success of the first "night of cognac" will promote the young team of organizers of this dancing night with cognac as sole beverage.
Cognac as a long-drink is regaining popularity as a party drink near the young generations, to the point where there is some talk about organizing the next detective film festival on the same model. Students of the Eaux-de-vie University are also thinking of using this idea for their annual party.
Welcome to the jungle!
