Amber in colour. The initial nose has soft oak and vanilla. The nose develops to a very elegant ‘rancio’ with delicious dried fruit and nut aromas. The palate is soft and lingering with liquorice and ‘rancio’ flavours.
Cask strength Eau de Vie 45-50 years old. Blend of eaux de vie between 1947 and 1955.

The eaux-de-vie used for this blend go back to 1947 to 1955, and are matured in oak barrels. When ageing has reached its peak, this cognac will be put into Glass Dame Jeanne (also called DemiJohns) in order to stop maturation. Learn More
